Milwaukee Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a critical missing child. Aubri Degeffered (B/F, 10/29/2012) was inside a vehicle that was stolen in the 4900 block of W. Chambers Street around 6:50 p.m. on November 15. A suspect approached the vehicle that Aubri was in and forced the driver out and fled in the car with the child. Aubri was last seen in a blue jacket, a black sweater with “Cool” written on it, black leggings with a Snoopy logo, and black Timberland boots with sparkles. The suspect is described as black male, with a medium build, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants. The vehicle that was stolen is a red, 4-door, 2014 Volvo XC60 SUV, with Wisconsin license plates 409-XBP. Anyone with information is asked to call the Milwaukee Police at 414-935-3813.
UPDATE (10:00 p.m. on 11/15/15): The Town of Brookfield Police Department is investigating a strong-armed robbery that happened around 7:35 p.m. on November 15 in the 19600 block of W. Bluemound Road. The suspect arrived at and left the scene in the red Volvo SUV taken from Milwaukee in the 4900 block of W. Chambers Street. The suspect in Brookfield is believed to be the same suspect who originally stole the vehicle.
UPDATE (11:40 p.m. on 11/15/15): Aubri was located safely in Lake Mills, WI by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, acting on citizen information. The suspect, a 32 year old man was arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies at the same location and the Volvo SUV was also recovered. This investigation is ongoing and the case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office when the investigation is complete.
UPDATE (11:00 a.m. on 11/16/15): The strong armed robbery suspect involved in the abduction/amber alert on November 15th is a 32-year-old Milwaukee man. He is currently in Milwaukee Police custody. He was arrested around 10:15 p.m. on November 15 by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies at the Pyramid Liquor and Motel located at W7659 County Road V in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. The person in custody is also a suspect in an unrelated domestic violence stabbing of a member of his family, which happened on November 15 at about 5:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of N. 55th Street. The investigation is ongoing and the case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office in the coming days.
