Milwaukee Police responded to a fatal shooting around 10:00 p.m. on December 27 in the 6500 block of W. Euclid Avenue. Officers arrived to find an adult male suffering from several gunshot wounds. Lifesaving efforts were administered by the Milwaukee Fire Department, but were unsuccessful. The victim died on the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed that a second person may have been shot at the scene. Details surrounding the shooting are still being investigated. A person of interest is being questioned regarding the incident.
UPDATE (12/28/16 at 9:30 a.m.): The preliminary investigation reveals the 17-year-old who was fatally shot was committing a robbery at the time of the shooting and was shot by the 36-year-old Milwaukee man who was being robbed. That man is being questioned by investigators. The deceased’s co-actor, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man, was also shot during the altercation and has since been taken into custody.
