UPDATE: MPD Investigating April 24 Northwest Side Homicide, Non-Fatal Shooting

The Milwaukee Police department is investigating a double non fatal shooting that happened around 6:30 p.m. on April 24 in the 3000 block of W. Good Hope Road.  The initial investigation reveals that both victims were riding in a vehicle when a suspect in a different vehicle fired several shots into the victims’ vehicle.  Both victims received very serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital by the fire department.  The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE (4/25/16 at 4:00 p.m.): A victim of the April 24 shooting in the 3000 block of W. Good Hope Road has succumbed to his injuries and died at a local hospital.  He has been identified as a 26-year-old man.  The second gunshot victim remains hospitalized for treatment of his injuries.  Further investigation of this incident has revealed the victims were involved in an illegal drug transaction just prior to this incident.  The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek suspects.
