Milwaukee Police officers arrested three suspects for a South Side attempted armed robbery shortly after the crime occurred. District Two officers responded to the 900 block of W. Harrison Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. on May 6. A 24-year-old Milwaukee man told them he was approached by three men, and one of them pointed a gun at him and demanded his valuables. The suspects obtained nothing and fled from the scene. About twenty minutes later, offices saw three men fitting the description of the suspects in the 2500 block of S. 6th Street. They were taken into custody and one of the suspects had a gun on him that matched the description of the one used in the crime. The same suspect also had marijuana and other drugs on him. The suspects are an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and a 21-year-old man, all from Milwaukee. Milwaukee Police will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
