Three Juveniles Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car

Milwaukee Police arrested three juvenile suspects after they crashed a car they stole during a strong armed robbery on the City’s Northwest Side. The initial strong armed robbery took place around 7:05 p.m. on April 3 in the 5000 block of N. 54th Street. The victim, a 43-year-old woman, told officers three suspects approached her, struck her, and stole her car, a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. Around 9:30 p.m., a squad car from District Five spotted the car near N. Teutonia Avenue and W. Burleigh Street and started a pursuit. The Alero subsequently crashed near N. 47th Street and W. Locust Street and three people inside the car fled on foot. Officers quickly caught up to the fleeing suspects and took them into custody. The arrested include a 14-year-old female, a 15-year-old female, and a 16-year-old male. Investigators are searching for a fourth suspect as well. MPD will present the case against the three suspects to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
