Two teenagers are arrested by Milwaukee Police after they robbed a victim in a downtown parking structure. Officers from District One responded to the 500 block of W. Michigan Street at 1:45 p.m. on November 3 for a report of a strong armed robbery. When they arrived at the scene, security officers from the parking structure had detained the two suspects, a 15-year-old female and a 16-year-old female both from Milwaukee. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, told officers she was inside the parking garage and was walking toward the stairwell when the two suspects approached her, struck her, and stole her purse. The victim began to yell for help and the security officers chased after the suspects and were able to hold them until MPD officers arrived. Milwaukee Police will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
