Milwaukee Police arrested two teenage suspects for an attempted armed robbery on Milwaukee’s North Side. District Seven officers responded to the 3300 block of N. 49th Street around 5:00 p.m. on June 4 and were met by a 43-year-old Milwaukee man who said two suspects approached him, implied they had a weapon, demanded the victim’s cell phone, but then fled on foot. Officers found two teenagers matching the description of the suspects a short time later in the 4300 block of W. Auer Avenue. The suspects, a 15-year-old Milwaukee male and a 16-year-old Milwaukee male, were taken into custody. MPD will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
