Teenage Suspects Arrested in Attempted Armed Robbery

Milwaukee Police arrested two teenage suspects for an attempted armed robbery on Milwaukee’s North Side. District Seven officers responded to the 3300 block of N. 49th Street around 5:00 p.m. on June 4 and were met by a 43-year-old Milwaukee man who said two suspects approached him, implied they had a weapon, demanded the victim’s cell phone, but then fled on foot. Officers found two teenagers matching the description of the suspects a short time later in the 4300 block of W. Auer Avenue. The suspects, a 15-year-old Milwaukee male and a 16-year-old Milwaukee male, were taken into custody.
