District Five officers from the Milwaukee Police Department arrested two suspects and are looking for a third after the suspects tried to run away from a burglary scene carrying a stolen furnace. The officers responded to the 3300 block of N. 4th Street just before 12:00 p.m. on November 14 for a report of a burglary. Officers at the scene saw three suspects carrying a furnace as they attempted to get away. When the suspects saw the officers, they dropped the furnace and ran. Two suspects, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man and a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman, were taken into custody following a short foot chase. Police are still searching for the third suspect. The 18-year-old suspect is a convicted felon with a 2013 armed robbery conviction. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
