Two suspects are arrested by Milwaukee Police for their role in a series of armed robberies and on December 2nd were charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. Alfonso Lowe, 18, and Terrence R. Rayford, 20, are charged with three counts of Armed Robbery and one count of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety by use of a Dangerous Weapon. The first incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. on November 26 in the 1900 block of S. Congo Street. Lowe and Rayford approached a 26-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, displayed a gun, and stole their property. Less than an hour later, the two suspects were involved in an armed robbery in the 3700 block of S. 81st Street where they stole a 42-year-old female victim’s phone and fired three shots at a male victim who was not injured. Officers from District Five found the car used by the suspects later that evening in the 3200 block of N. 10th Street. Inside the car, they found items stolen in the previous robberies. The driver of the vehicle, Rayford, was taken into custody. Lowe turned himself into police on November 28.
