The suspects were taken into custody a few minutes later in the 4000 block of N. Richards Street. The victim’s wallet was found on one of the suspects and the gun used in the crime was reported stolen from a car in the 2300 block of W. Wells Street in August 2014. The suspects are a 21-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from Milwaukee. The 26-year-old suspect has misdemeanor convictions dating back to 2007. MPD will present charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
