Four suspected armed robbers are arrested by Milwaukee Police after an off-duty Neighborhood Task Force officer noticed some suspicious activity in his Jackson Park neighborhood. The officer saw the subjects in an alley at about 5:35 p.m. on July 28 and called MPD’s dispatch with a description of the group and vehicle. A squad responded and found the vehicle the officer spotted was stolen and used in an armed robbery the previous night in the 6800 block of W. Oklahoma Avenue. Three men and one woman were taken into custody. An officer searching the vehicle found two pairs of shoes that were reported stolen in the July 27 armed robbery. The suspects are a 17-year-old man from Milwaukee, a 19-year-old man from Milwaukee, a 24-year-old man from Milwaukee, and an 18-year-old woman from Greenfield. The 17-year-old is also being charged with obstruction for intentionally giving a false name. MPD will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
