A suspect, out on bail for a previous burglary, is arrested by Milwaukee Police and now charged with three additional burglaries. Isaiah J. Moore, age 19 and from Milwaukee, was taken into custody on April 18 after MPD officers responded to a burglar alarm call at a business in the 5800 block of W. Appleton Avenue. While investigating, the officers were notified by a citizen of a man breaking into Badger Auto Sales, a business a block away. When the officers approached the suspect (later identified as Mr. Moore), he began to run away and threw car keys that were stolen from Badger Auto Sales. Officers caught up to Moore and took him into custody. Using fingerprints from Moore, investigators were able to determine that he was responsible for a January 28 burglary at a business in the 2400 block of W. Capitol Drive and a separate April 18 burglary at a different business in the 5800 block of W. Appleton Avenue. Moore has been charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office with three counts of burglary and faces more than 37 years in prison if convicted in all three cases. At the time of these most recent crimes, Moore was out on bail for a January 2 burglary he is charged with committing.
