UPDATE: June 15 Fatal Northwest Side Stabbing Ruled Justifiable Self-Defense

Milwaukee Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing on Milwaukee’s Northwest Side. Officers responded to a home in the 5100 block of N. Teutonia Avenue around 8:55 a.m. on June 15 and located a 38-year-old man who had been stabbed during a domestic dispute. The victim died at the scene despite lifesaving efforts by the Milwaukee Fire Department. A 32-year-old woman is currently in custody for the crime and MPD continues its investigation.

UPDATE (6/20/16 at 9:30 a.m.):   The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to issue charges against the 32-year-old Milwaukee woman in the June 15 homicide of a 38-year-old man in the 5100 block of N. Teutonia Avenue.  The District Attorney’s Office cited justifiable self-defense.
