Suspect Arrested for South Side Homicide

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened in the 1900 block of S. 5th Street at about 6:30 p.m. on March 10. The suspect, a 49-year-old Milwaukee man, was involved in an argument with the mother of his children. When the woman called a male acquaintance to the scene the acquaintance was shot by the 49-year-old suspect outside of the home. The victim, a 39-year-old Milwaukee man, died at the scene. The suspect fled in his car but was arrested a short time later when he crashed into a parked car in the 1800 block of S. 13th Street. The suspect will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for possible charges.
