A Milwaukee man is arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery after returning to the crime scene. According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the 800 block of N. 26th Street at approximately 5:10 pm on April 11. The victim, a 28-year-old Milwaukee woman, told officers that an unknown man came to her door, pointed a gun at her, and demanded money. She did not give the victim any money and slammed the door. During their investigation, officers from District Three of the Milwaukee Police Department noticed the suspect returning to a parking garage at the crime scene at approximately 7:00 pm. 24-year-old Harry Nyemah Jr. was arrested and taken into custody. Examination of the structure’s surveillance video showed Nyemah Jr. leaving the garage just minutes after the crime. Nyemah Jr. faces one count of attempted armed robbery. If convicted he faces up to 20 years in prison.
