Four suspects are arrested by Milwaukee Police for a strong-armed robbery after they’re located a short distance from the crime. District Three officers responded to the 2700 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue just after 6:00 p.m. on October 11 for a report of a strong-armed robbery. At the scene they met with the victim, a 50-year-old Milwaukee man, who told officers that four suspects approached him and asked him if he was selling any bus tickets. When the victim started to remove the bus tickets and some cash from his pocket, one of the suspects pushed him to the ground and demanded his belongings. Another suspect took the bus tickets and money and the group fled on foot. A witness told officers that she saw the group head into a nearby fast food restaurant and that’s where responding officers found all four suspects and took them into custody. The suspects are two 16-year-old males, a 17-year-old male, and a 19-year-old man, all from Milwaukee. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
