Milwaukee Police arrested three males after a traffic stop of a stolen car on the City’s South Side. Officers from District Two were on patrol in the 2600 block of W. Legion Street around 7:35 p.m. on February 29 when they saw a 2003 Toyota Camry with no rear registration plates traveling southbound on S. 26th Street. The driver of the Camry disregarded a stop sign and officers stopped the vehicle in the 2200 block of S. Layton Boulevard. A check of the car revealed it had been stolen earlier in the month from a neighboring jurisdiction. All three males inside the car were wearing nylon gloves and one of them had a pellet gun. The suspects are a 16-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, and an 18-year-old male, all from Milwaukee. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
