UPDATE: Suspect Arrested After Male Juvenile Found Partially Burned

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that was reported on Thursday, September 28th, around 7:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of W. Grant Street. The Milwaukee Fire Department also responded and found a deceased person, partially burned, in a residence. The victim is believed to be a male juvenile and the identity is being confirmed. MPD continues to investigate the circumstances, is working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death and is seeking suspects.

UPDATE (9/28/17 at 12:45 p.m.): The suspect in this incident, a 23-year old Milwaukee woman was arrested by Milwaukee Police around 12:00 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE (9/29/17 at 1:50 p.m): Milwaukee Police are seeking additional witnesses in this incident.  Specifically, police are seeking a witness who provided information to the Milwaukee Fire Department while on scene.  Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
