Sexual Assault Suspect Sought in West Side Attack

The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for the public to help identify a sexual assault suspect.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a sexual assault that happened on May 21st, 2016, around 2 a.m. near N. 24th Place and W. McKinley Avenue . The female victim was sexually assaulted in the backyard of a residence by the suspect who she had just met.  The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years-old, 5’8”-5’11” tall, weighing 190 to 200 pounds, with shoulder-length, black dreadlock style hair, a brown complexion, large nose, and large lips. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes. The suspect identified himself to the victim as “Andre” and implied that he had a weapon during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department Sensitive Crimes Division at 414-935-7405. During a recent follow-up with the victim a composite sketch was created and is pictured below.
