UPDATE: One Killed, Two Injured in August 30 West Side Shooting

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide/double non-fatal shooting that happened around 12:55 p.m. on August 30 in the 1900 block of N. 27th Street. Three victims, two adult males and a teenage male, were shot during circumstances that remain under investigation at this time. One of the adult males was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. MPD’s investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE (9/6/16 at 7:40 a.m.): The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to issue charges against the 25-year-old Milwaukee man arrested for the August 30 homicide in the 1900 block of N. 27th Street.  The District Attorney’s Office cited justifiable self-defense.
