Officers Use “Find My iPad” App to Arrest Burglary Suspects

Three suspects, including one juvenile, have been charged with burglary after Milwaukee Police officers use the “Find My iPad” app to locate and arrest the suspects. Officers from District 5 arrested 19-year-old Marzell Fullilove of Milwaukee, 18-year-old Anthony Ehlert from Milwaukee, and a 16-year-old Milwaukee male for their involvement in an incident on March 28.

The victim, a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman, alerted police that her home, in the 3700 block of N. 10th Street, had been burglarized with several televisions, a gaming system, and an iPad stolen. Officers used the “Find My iPad” app and that led them to a vacant house in the 800 block of W. Atkinson Avenue where they found the three suspects hiding and the stolen items.

Upon further forensic investigation, officers discovered a match between Ehlert’s handprints and a burglary incident on March 20 in the 2700 block of W. Glendale Avenue. Both Ehlert and Fullilove are now facing felony burglary charges and face more than 12 years in prison if convicted.
