Three Milwaukee men are arrested and charged in connection with two armed robberies on the same night. A fourth juvenile suspect, a 16-year-old Milwaukee male, is also facing charges. According to the criminal complaint, the three 17-year-olds from Milwaukee, Kareem Body-Etti, Deviondre Jackson, and Jaric Turner, committed their first armed robbery on May 11 at approximately 12:30 am in the 800 block of S. 3rd Street. The group demanded valuables from the victims, a 31-year-old Milwaukee man and a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, at gunpoint. The victims complied and the suspects fled. Approximately 40 minutes later and in the same area, the suspects committed another armed robbery and stole purses and cell phones from two female victims, a 28-year-old woman and a 32-year-old Milwaukee woman.
Responding officers learned the same silver car was used in both crimes. Officers from District Two spotted the vehicle at a gas station in the 1000 block of S. 1st Street and found all four suspects and took them into custody. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Body-Etti was the gunman in an April 9 armed robbery in the 700 block of S. Layton Blvd. and he now faces charges for that crime as well.
