September 11th, 2012 by milwaukeepolice

On Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 11:54 p.m., District 3 Police Officers Leon Davis, Ryan Fekete, Christopher Randazzo and Sgt. Todd Smolen heard shots fired coming from the area of the 4200 block of W. North Ave.

Upon approaching the area they came upon a shooting victim, a 22-year-old man. The officers quickly identified the suspect vehicle with the assistance of the victim and citizen witnesses. The officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the occupants, a man and woman, both age 20. The gun used in the shooting also was recovered inside the vehicle.

Great work by these officers in finding the suspects and likely preventing the next shooting.
