A Milwaukee Police officer diffuses a potentially dangerous situation and arrests a man for pointing and aiming a gun in Downtown Milwaukee. A District One officer was on patrol in the 600 block of N. Milwaukee Street around 2:10 a.m. on August 7 when he saw a man pull out a gun and point it across the street. The suspect then re-holstered the weapon. The officer approached the suspect and found the suspect to be holding a loaded handgun as well as marijuana. The suspect, a 38-year-old Milwaukee man, admitted to drinking and a breathalyzer test revealed his Blood Alcohol Content was .13. He faces several charges including Possession of THC, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Disorderly Conduct. The case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
