MPD Seeks Distinctive Backpack in Homicide Investigation

Milwaukee Police are asking for the public’s help in seeking a distinctive backpack from a homicide investigation. Angelo Young was shot and killed in the 200 block of E. Garfield Avenue around 11:40 p.m. on July 21. Young was believed to be carrying a black, gray, and silver Element Mohave backpack (picture of similar backpack below). The backpack and property inside it have not yet been recovered. Possible property inside it may include an iPhone6 with earbuds, silver headphones, and an Educators Credit Union card. The suspect vehicle described in the incident is a dark-colored, 1997-1999 Chevrolet Suburban. Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7411.
