MPD Seeking Suspect Responsible for Recent Store Robberies

Milwaukee Police are seeking a suspect believed responsible for three recent store robberies. The first robbery happened at the Family Dollar located at 9014 W. Appleton Avenue at about 5:20 p.m. on February 17, 2013. The suspect entered the store, grabbed the cashier, and implied a weapon in the cashier’s back. The suspect then took money and fled.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” to 6”, 140 to 170 lbs., black hair, light brown complexion, wearing a black baseball cap, a black bandana covering his face, a Green Bay Packer Super Bowl jacket, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

The second robbery happened at the same Family Dollar at about 8:40 p.m. on February 24, 2013. The suspect entered the store, pushed an employee, placed the employee in a chokehold, and demanded money. The suspect then took money from two cash registers and fled from the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” to 6”, 140 to 170 lbs., wearing a black baseball cap, a black coat, blue jeans, a half mask, and white tennis shoes.

The third robbery happened at the Walgreen’s located at 5201 N. 91st Street at about 1:30 p.m. on March 3, 2013. The suspect entered the business, grabbed an employee by the back of the neck, and forced the employee to open the cash register. The suspect then took money from the register and fled the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” to 6”, 140 to 170 lbs., wearing a half black mask, a black head covering, a black Green Bay Packer jacket with a large “G” on the back, and dark jeans.
