Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 10:15 p.m. on May 10 near S. 13th Street and W. Greenfield Avenue. A 47-year-old man was stopped in his Pontiac Grand Am at a stop sign and began to make a left turn onto W. Greenfield Avenue. While making the turn, the Grand Am was struck by a stolen Audi A6 that was traveling eastbound on W. Greenfield Avenue at a high rate of speed. Following the crash, the occupants of the Audi fled from the scene and MPD continues to seek them. The victim died at the scene. The Audi was stolen on May 9 from the 2100 block of W. Mineral Street. MPD’s investigation is ongoing.
