Milwaukee Police are seeking the suspects responsible for shooting a woman who was later dropped off at a gas station in the 2600 block of W. Capitol Drive shortly after 4 p.m. on July 7. Police believe the woman was shot nearby. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Milwaukee Police are in the early stages of the investigation and the woman’s age is not yet available.
UPDATED (7/7/15 at 9:40 p.m.): The female victim in the shooting reported earlier is 41-years-of-age. The shooting occurred in the 3800 block of N 27th St. The shooting occurred as two subjects exchanged gunfire. At this time it does not appear that the victim was an intended target. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
