Milwaukee Police are investigating a shots fired incident at 4151 N. 56th Street, (the Midtown Shopping Center) around 6:20 p.m. on December 1. During circumstances that remain unclear, shots were fired in a nearby parking lot. One of these rounds struck a front glass window of a Concordia University Satellite Center and ended up in an unoccupied classroom. The professor and 36 students went on lock down for a short time prior to the arrival of officers. It is not believed at this time that the university was the target. There are no reports of any injuries. Our investigation into the motive surrounding this incident remain under investigation.
