Milwaukee Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that happened around 10:30 p.m. on April 28 in the 2600 block of N. 5th Street. The 18-year-old exited his car and fled on foot after a third vehicle arrived at the scene and started firing shots. The three occupants of the car, a 21-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman, and a 32-year-old woman, all from Milwaukee, were all transported to a local hospital for serious injuries suffered in the crash. The crash suspect was taken into custody a short time later at his home in the 2600 block of N. 4th Street on charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Hit and Run. MPD continues to search for the suspect who fired shots.
