The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened around 6:40 p.m. on August 18 in front of the Sixth District Police station located in the 3000 block of S. 27th St. The victim, a 42-year-old Milwaukee man, became involved in an argument with two men who were outside of the station in a vehicle waiting for another person to arrive. During the argument the actor, a 65-year-old Milwaukee man, drew a handgun and shot the suspect. The actor and his 52-year-old male friend then walked into the District and turned themselves and the firearm into officers. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing.
