Milwaukee Police responded to a shots fired call that happened around 9:50 a.m. on August 28 in the 1300 block of W. Orchard Street. During an argument between two adult male neighbors, one of the men pulled out a gun and fired a number of shots. The shooter then went back into his residence. The other neighbor was not injured and called the police. When officers arrived the actor refused to answer the door or respond to their verbal requests. It was reported by officers that it sounded like the actor was barricading the door and that his 6-year-old son was inside with him. For the next couple of hours attempts were made to communicate with the actor who eventually started to speak with out negotiations unit. When the negotiations were not productive, an entry was made into the residence just before 3:00 p.m. and the subject taken into custody without incident. The child was found locked in a bedroom unharmed and the front door of the residence was barricaded with living room furniture. The actor is a 38-year-old man from Milwaukee and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. Our investigation is ongoing.
