MPD Arrests South Side Bank Robbers Minutes After Crime

Milwaukee Police arrested three suspects wanted for a bank robbery that happened just before 3 p.m. on April 22 at the Tri-City National Bank at 3378 S. 27th Street. One suspect entered the bank with a gun and demanded money from an employee. He then fled the scene in a vehicle with two other occupants. Officers located the vehicle a short time later near S. 6th Street and W. Virginia Street. Three male suspects were taken into custody following a brief foot chase. Officers also recovered a gun in the area and the cash stolen in the robbery. The suspects are a 19-year-old man, and two 20-year-old men. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
