The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened on January 21 at about 3:50 p.m. at the U.S. Bank located at 3720 W. Villard Avenue. The male suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and presented a note that demanded money. The suspect received the money and fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATED (1/22/15 at 2:40 p.m.): The suspect wanted for the U.S. Bank robbery at 3720 W. Villard Avenue on January 21 was arrested on January 22 near N. 33rd Street and W. Wells Street. MPD is currently investigating whether the suspect arrested is responsible for other similar crimes in the Milwaukee area.
