Milwaukee Police Investigating December 9 Homicide, Three Unrelated Shootings

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 2900 block of N. 29th Street shortly before 11:30 p.m. on December 9. A 23-year-old woman from Milwaukee was shot by a known suspect during a physical altercation. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries. Milwaukee Police are currently searching for the suspect.

Milwaukee Police are investigating three unrelated shootings from overnight:

-A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was shot inside a residence in the 3900 block of N. 27th Street around 9:30 p.m. on December 9. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The motive appears to be robbery and police continue to search for suspects.

-A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was shot outside a residence in the 4200 block of W. Lloyd Street shortly before 11:30 p.m. on December 9. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 32-year-old Milwaukee man who lived at the residence was arrested for the shooting.

-A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was shot inside a residence in the 8800 block of N. 95th Street around 12:00 a.m. on December 10. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. There are no suspects in custody and our investigation continues.
