Milwaukee Police are investigating a domestic violence related double homicide that happened in the 400 block of N. 39th Street at about 8:30 a.m. on January 23. District Three officers forced entry to the home and found five people suffering from stab wounds, four of them were adults and one was an infant. Officers had received information that the suspect, who was still at the scene, wanted to be killed by police. The suspect, a 20-year-old male, was located in a bathroom suffering from superficial stab wounds and was taken into custody. Four other stabbing victims were found in the home. The two deceased victims are a five-month-old girl and a 39-year-old male. Two other victims were conveyed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. They are a 19-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man. The suspect is also at a local hospital receiving treatment for his injuries and is in custody. Charges against him will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
