Major Incidents

The Milwaukee Police Department responded to a non-life threatening shooting on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 located on the 2100 Block of N. 37th Street. The victim, a 34 y/o male, has been involved in an on-going dispute with the suspect. Around 7:00 pm, the suspect fired multiple gunshots at the victim and wounded him non fatally. The Milwaukee Fire Department treated the victim and conveyed him to a local hospital. MPD is seeking a known suspect.
 
 
Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 around 8:00 pm, a 57 y/o man was crossing the street at the intersection of N. Martin Luther King Drive and W. Concordia ave. when a vehicle accidentally struck him and knocked him into the roadway.
 
While on the road, a second vehicle struck the victim and caused additional and more severe injury. The victim was treated by MFD and conveyed to a local hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
 
The driver of the first striking vehicle remained on the scene and helped the victim until medical personnel arrived.
 
The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene after striking the victim. MPD continues to investigate the accident.
