Four teenage suspects wanted in an attempted armed robbery are arrested by District Three officers from the Milwaukee Police Department. A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was driving her car on W. Vliet Street near N. 27th Street at approximately 10:20 p.m. on August 14 when she stopped at a red light. A suspect approached her car, pointed a BB gun at her, and planned to rob her. The suspect, a 14-year-old Milwaukee male, saw that there were other people in the car, including an infant, and the victim sped off and called 911. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested two of the suspects. The other two, including the suspect with a gun, fled from the scene but were caught and taken into the custody. The BB gun was also recovered close to the scene. The three other suspects, a 15-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, and a 17-year-old male, all from Milwaukee, may face charges of Party to a Crime, while the 14-year-old could face a charge of Attempted Armed Robbery. MPD will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
