Officers from District 7 of the Milwaukee Police Department find drugs and a gun during the arrest of three men following a suspicious automobile complaint. The officers found the car in the 2600 block of W. Linwal Lane on December 26 around 10:20 pm. When officers approached the car, the driver, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man and convicted felon, fled but was quickly arrested. Officers observed marijuana in the car and arrested the other occupants, both 22-year-old men from Milwaukee. A search of the car also turned up cocaine and a 9 mm semi-automatic gun.
All three suspects have previous arrest records. The convicted felon is now facing Felon in Possession of a Firearm, drug possession, resisting an officer, and felony bail jumping charges. The other two men are facing Carrying a Concealed Weapon and drug possession charges, with one also facing a bail jumping charge. The case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
