Milwaukee Police officers assigned to District 7 have arrested a convicted felon in possession of a stolen gun. The officers made a traffic stop around 2 am on December 10 in the 3900 block of N. 60th Street and when approaching the car, they observed the handle of a semiautomatic handgun in the coat pocket of the passenger. The suspect told officers he did not have a Concealed Carry Permit and officers discovered the handgun was stolen and the suspect was a convicted felon.
The suspect, a 36-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody. The case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
