District 7 Officers Always Get Their Man (Robber)!

On August 1 at 9:45 p.m., squads were dispatched to an armed robbery in the 2900 block of N. 46th St. As squads began to saturate a second robbery was reported to police on the same block.

District 7 Police Officers Dionte King and Scott Wilson began a foot pursuit of a possible suspect. Meanwhile, Officers Martez Ball and Harold Almas and Sgt. Charles Grimm set up containment

Officers located the suspect hiding in the bushes in the 2800 block of N. 46th St. ¬†Officers recovered the suspect’s weapon, a BB gun, which he dropped during the pursuit.

The suspect confessed to both robberies. Great job by District 7 officers taking a two-time robber off the street!
