The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has issued charges against a 24-year-old Milwaukee man stemming from an incident where he threatened the lives of two Milwaukee Police officers.
Brandon Harper-Lowe began a verbal altercation with a victim, a 47-year-old male, following a traffic incident in a parking lot in the 9000 block of N. 76th Street around 3:50 pm on December 15. The victim says Harper-Lowe pointed a semi-automatic handgun in an upward position, causing the victim to fear for his safety. Harper-Lowe fled but two officers from District 4 conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in the 6300 block of N. 76th Street. Harper-Lowe was uncooperative with officers and began verbally assaulting them and making threats to kill their families. Officers recovered a 9mm Glock handgun and cocaine from Harper-Lowe and it was discovered that his driving status had been revoked. He faces misdemeanor charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Possession of Cocaine, and Operating While Revoked.
