Milwaukee Police arrested two carjacking suspects after officers found them in the stolen car taken in the crime. Officers responded to the 5500 block of N. 92nd Street around 1:25 p.m. on February 8 and met the victim, a 45-year-old man, who said he was inside his 2007 GMC Acadia when the suspects’ vehicle approached him. One of the male suspects got out of their car and demanded the victim’s car at gunpoint. The victim complied and the suspect fled from the scene in the Acadia. Around 3:00 p.m., District Five officers received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of W. Burleigh Street. When they went to investigate, they saw the Acadia in a parking lot and two suspects inside. The suspects fled from the car on foot but were quickly taken into custody. The suspects are a 16-year-old Milwaukee male and a 17-year-old Milwaukee man. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
