Two armed robbery suspects are arrested and charged after they were located by Milwaukee Police ten minutes after the crime. Daejujuan K. Spivey and Tarel L. Perkins, both 17-years-old and from Milwaukee, have been charged in connection with the February 20 incident in the 3500 block of N. 6th Street. District Five officers responded to the scene at about 11:05 p.m. where they met the victim, a 38-year-old Milwaukee woman. The victim told officers she was approached by two suspects who implied a weapon and stole money from her before they fled on foot. Just ten minutes later, District Five officers saw two suspects matching the description of those involved in the 100 block of W. Keefe Avenue and arrested them. One of the suspects still had the stolen cash in his pocket. Spivey and Perkins each were charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office with one count of Robbery with Threat of Force. If convicted, they face a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
