Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car

Milwaukee Police arrested one armed robbery suspect and are seeking another after the pair crashed a stolen car. District Three Officers responded to the 1400 block of N. 18th Street at about 4:40 p.m. on December 18th where they met with an armed robbery victim. The victim, a 57-year-old Milwaukee woman, was about to enter her vehicle when one of the suspects approached her, displayed a gun, and demanded her car. The other suspect got into the driver’s seat and they fled in the vehicle. About 10 minutes later, District Three officers located the stolen car in the 1100 block of N. 21st Street and began to pursue it. The car eventually hit a stop sign near N. 25th Street and W. Highland Avenue and the two suspects fled on foot. One suspect, a 17-year-old Milwaukee male, was quickly taken into custody and police are still seeking the second suspect. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
