Officers from District Four of the Milwaukee Police Department identified and arrested three strong-armed robbery suspects just minutes after they committed the crime. The officers were on patrol in the 6300 block of N. 77th Street at 9:30 a.m. on October 10 when they noticed two suspects running and continuing to look behind themselves. The suspects entered a vehicle and a third suspect drove away from the area. The officers followed the vehicle, heard a broadcast dispatch of a strong-armed robbery that just occurred in the 7600 block of W. Mill Road and realized they could be related. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 6900 block of N. 91st Street. One of the passengers confessed to officers he took the victim’s phone in the incident on W. Mill Road. All three suspects were taken into custody. They are a 21-year-old man, 22-year-old man, and 23-year-old man, all from Milwaukee. The 21-year-old and 23-year-old are both convicted felons. Milwaukee Police will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
