Two armed robbery suspects are arrested by District Five officers from the Milwaukee Police Department after stealing a victim’s car. Officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery in the 1800 block of N. 7th Street at about 9:30 pm on October 21. The victim, a 25-year-old woman from Milwaukee, told officers she was exiting her vehicle, a 2009 black Kia Spectra, when she saw three male suspects approach her. One of the suspects implied a weapon and demanded her keys and money. The victim complied and the suspect fled in her vehicle. The other two suspects fled on foot. About twenty minutes later, District Five officers located the Kia Spectra with suspects matching the description in the 1100 block of W. Walnut Street. Two suspects, a 13-year-old male and an 18-year-old man, were taken into custody. Police continue to search for the other suspect. The 13-year-old had a firearm on him at the time of his arrest. It’s believed the two suspects may have been responsible for another armed robbery in the 600 block of W. North Avenue shortly after the incident on N. 7th Street. Milwaukee Police will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
